The 2024 college football regular season has begun, and lines are forming for each bowl game.
But one spot that has many bettors interested is the College Football Playoff futures market.
With 12 teams participating in the CFP, it’s time to take a closer look at the chances for a national title.

CFP National Championship Odds:
Oregon Ducks: +350 (bet $10 to win $45 total)
Texas Longhorns: +360 (bet $10, win $46 total)
Ohio State Buckeyes: +500 (bet $10 to win $60 total)
Georgia Bulldogs: +500 (bet $10 to win $60 total)
Notre Dame Fighting Irish: +550 (bet $10 to win $65 total)
Penn State Nittany Lions: +650 (bet $10 to win $70 total)
Volunteers, Tennessee: +2200 (bet $10 and win $230 total)
SMU: +4500 (stake $10 and win $460 total)
Arizona: +5500 (bet $10 and win $560 total)
Clemson: +6000 (bet $10 and win $610 total)
Boise State: +6500 (bet $10 and win $660 total)
Oregon State is at the top of the odds board, with Texas right behind them. The Buckeyes, who lost their last game to rival University of Michigan 13-10, are in third place. Along with them is Georgia, which looks even more likely after news of Carson Beck’s injury.
Beck is not scheduled to play for the Dawgs during the playoffs.
CFP First Round Super 6: Ohio State vs. Tennessee, Clemson vs. Texas, and more
Of the top eight teams on the odds board, only two are conference champions: Oregon State in the Big Ten and Georgia State in the SEC.
ACC champion Clemson is ninth, Big 12 champion ASU is 10th and Mountain West champion Boise State is 11th.
Indiana is off the board after losing to Notre Dame on Friday night.
ASU and Boise State both received first-round byes. Clemson University will travel to play Texas State in the first round.
