2.21 Friday Faves – The Fitnessista

4 Min Read

Hello friends! Happy Friday! What are you doing this weekend? It’s Rodeo Lake (it’s AZ’s and I love it). Enjoy Tucson adventures, fun with friends, and enjoying the weather like this spring. Now I’m sending sunlight to my frozen friends!

I’m doing the round Equilife Detox Now And it feels great. I was planning to start with our community in January, but stopped after a day as everyone else in the house got sick with the cold/virus. I had to shift my focus to immunity and was able to stay healthy while caring for everyone else.

With retirement over, things have been a little more calm, so it was a good opportunity to jump on it for 14 days. Learn more about our previous detox experiences here. It is very easy to stick to, as it focuses on high nutrients and lots of fresh whole foods. (It is worth mentioning that I skip fasting day.)

It’s my favorite party time every Friday! This is where I share some of my favorite discoveries from around the web and a week. I always love hearing about your favorites too, so shout out what you love in the Commen’s section below.

2/21 Friday Favorites

Fashion + Beauty + Random:

Beef steak! This is one of our favorite local events, and the funds support veterans and military families. They have a live auction (we auctioned Tesla this year, but this was pretty cool!) and a silent auction, a delicious dinner (the seafood area this year was Amaaay’s), and drinks. And dance. I always love the opportunity to dress up and party with pilots and friends.

The dress was last minute dillard:

Some photos!

Amazon now has a lot of great spring dresses and sets. I’m going to post next week, but here’s what I’m looking at:

This crew neck dress

This flowing midi dress

This 3D floral embroidery dress

This open back maxi dress

This striped ribbed dress

Somerset looks like so many colors

This cute lounge set

This gorgeous print dress

This dress looks much more expensive than that

I have this in black and it is very flattering and perfect for many occasions

It gives a Zimmermann atmosphere

Read, see, listen:

If you like historical fiction, this was a recent read on 10/10.

They had an adult ballet class at Liv’s Studio and I was thinking about going to it…

The value of doing nothing in a super productive world.

Fitness, Health, and Good Food:

I ordered more of my favorite Decaff coffee.

How to build the perfect salad bowl.

Such a simple make-up breakfast and the kids love it too.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today! Have a great weekend. I’ll meet YA soon!

xoxo

Gina

I’ll try again later
