1 player New York Giants would steal from Seattle Seahawks

The New York Giants (1-3) will face the Seattle Seahawks (3-1) in a Week 5 battle on Sunday afternoon at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington.

Of course, that would provide those of us here at the Giants Wire with an opportunity to hypothetically steal from the Seahawks’ roster in search of an upgrade in depth and talent for Big Blue.

Two former Giants catch your eye right out of the gate. Defensive lineman Leonard Williams and safety Julian Love.

Both players will immediately add to the defense and provide valuable leadership to the locker room. But those ships have sailed, and general manager Joe Schon doesn’t seem to see value in either.

Another former Giant, quarterback Geno Smith, stands out as well, but we’re not going to go down that path. That said, it’s frustrating to see so many former Giants playing at such a high level so far away from East Rutherford.

Running back Kenneth Walker is another impressive option, but his struggles in pass protection give us pause. Needless to say, the Giants have more pressing needs in other areas.

Ultimately, they are looking to acquire cornerback Tarik Uhlen, who has been playing at a very high level through four games. He had 41 yards on 12 targets, allowing just five receptions and no touchdowns, but had nine tackles, three passes defended and one interception.

Woolen will provide the Giants with another outside corner, which they desperately need after Deonte Banks’ lack of depth and poor performance this season. And while he may not be one of the top shutdown corners in the league, he would still greatly improve the Giants’ defense.

What do you think, Giants fans? Would you choose Tarik Uhren or a completely different player from the Seattle Seahawks?
