Protein pickle dip
Serving: 6
material:
- 1 cup of blended cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup plain fat Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup chopped dill pickles
- 1 tablespoon. Or more pickled juice
- 1 tsp. Lemon juice
- Handful of chopped fresh dill
- 3 or 4 chopped chives
- Sprinkle and taste with ranch seasonings (including salt)
- A pinch of salt and pepper, and tastes
- 1/2 tsp. Garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. Onion powder
- 1/4 cup fried onion
Manual:
- Mix the base: In a medium bowl, stir the mixed cottage cheese and Greek yogurt until smooth.
- Add flavor: Fold into chopped pickles, chives, dill, pickled juice, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, ranch seasoning, salt and pepper. Mix well and combine. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour to melt the flavor. If the dip appears to be too thick after it’s cool, stir in more pickle juice to reach the desired consistency.
- Finish and serve: Before serving, apply the dip with fried onions, some extra chopped pickles and a sprinkle of fresh dill. Serve with your favorite raw vegetables and chips.
