There’s a lill spring chat with friends and share exciting news.
hiiiii! how are you? I hope your day is going well and you have a wonderful weekend. I had a smoothie and coffee date around here, so it’s been a while, so I’d like to catch up!
(In real life, it’s not a bottled smoothie, but a fresh smoothie, but let’s go with it.)
Grab a smoothie and catch up a little.
If you have a smoothie date…
I want to know how you’re doing. Really, really do it. How about the kids? How are you feeling? Are you stressed about May Sayer and the end of school, or are you okay?
Take a new workout class and try out new restaurants. I’d love to hear all the details about my upcoming holidays and summer plans.
I’ve started homeschooling and say I’m very relieved. She is thriving and we are having a lot of fun together. Honestly, it feels like it gives her a chance to enjoy her childhood a little more. With a girl born, it was a wild ride, and as an unsettling person of my own, I was always focused on “what’s next” and going two steps ahead, rather than enjoying the present moment. Over the past few years I have been forced to make myself more present because they are growing so fast. I can’t believe Liv will be in the 8th grade next year!
I say I’m teaching barres in an amazing local studio and encouraged me to take classes! I don’t teach as much as I used to, but I can’t imagine teaching more than 15 classes a week, but one or two classes a week is perrrrrfect.
We will also share exciting news with you…We will be heading to Europe for six weeks, perhaps for a long time. We go to Italy, France, Spain and then i.can’t.aven.wait. When we went to Spain last year, we toured several luxurious apartments. Using taxes (21%!) I calculated that for the next 19 years, I would spend the same amount of money spending almost the summer in Europe, and would be flexible enough to go anywhere rather than in one place. So, Summer #1, gooooooo!!! Of course, share all your adventures with Instagram stories and blogs. It feels like a huge treat and we’re all ready for it.
I ask if I like pickleball and if I want to play one day. I’m not good at pickleballs, but I love it and am always looking for opportunities to practice. The kids are also obsessed with it!
Split up the gluten-free snack with me and ask if I’d like to plan my next catch-up day. 😉
So, please tell me, Friend: Are you really *really*? Do you have any plans for the summer? Do you like pickleballs? Chat in the comments section.
xoxo
