Three-wheel sales increased 37% to 8,454 units. In May, domestic tractor sales rose 10% year-on-year to 38,914 units, even though exports fell by 8% to 1,729 units.
“The industry grew in June 2025. Cash flow mainly from the harvest of rabbis crops and the widespread arrival of monsoons in most regions,” said Veejay Nakra, president of Agricultural Equipment Business at Mahindra & Mahindra.
This month, better long-term rainfall departures will provide ample support for land preparation activities in the upcoming Kharif season. Record-breaking food grain production, particularly rice, wheat and legumes, is expected to increase well against tractor demand in the coming months, coupled with various government initiatives to improve farmers’ incomes.
