The New York Giants will take on the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon at Lincoln Financial Field, but not surprisingly, they will be limping toward the 2024 regular season finish line.
Head coach Brian Daboll announced to reporters Friday afternoon that several players who did not practice this week will be absent in Week 18, including linebacker Micah McFadden and center Jon-Michael Schmitz. .
The news was a little more positive regarding rookie wide receiver Malik Nabors, who had a toe issue on Thursday’s injury report.
“He’ll be fine,” Daboll said.
Any other player who can play will play, Daboll added. Their goal is to win games and not worry about where they will be in the 2025 NFL Draft.
“We gave it our all,” he said. “That’s what we’ll be doing this week.”
