Fans of “The Secret Life of a Mormon Wife” are fully aware of Paul and Mortensen’s rock-filled relationship. And to add confusion about where the two stand in their relationship, Paul’s posting on social media certainly makes fans think twice.
Are they the same? Are they working on becoming a couple again? Or are they co-parents with their really great friends and son? These are questions that fans like to answer, and perhaps some answers will come to the surface when Season 2 is released on Hulu next week.

The recent photos were confused but have since been deleted
Just a week ago, both Paul and Mortensen had taken photos of the two together, looking cozy and comfortable on stage. It was then removed from both Instagram pages.

There are no pictures of Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen on IG, but they are in Tiktok
The photo may have recently disappeared from Instagram, but Stephanie Tleiji’s Tiktok video still passes by @.stepphwithdadeets With the app.
“OK, Taylor and Dakota, are you guys together?” Tleiji said in her video. “I just saw these photos that Taylor posted. Her caption, “I didn’t let my heart go all the time,” she says. That’s because she’s using the song in this post with her castmates and my co-parents. You guys share it, as we get it, but you’re not co-parenting to the stage horse because your child isn’t there.”
Tleiji pointed out that Mortensen has returned to following Paul on social media, but she has not returned to following him.

Taylor Frankie Paul is all parents
While it may seem like there is a lot of relationship confusion between Paul and Mortensen, they both coexist with Front Burner and Tate, Paul’s ex-husband, who she shares two children.
“For now, it’s always been really good for me and my first baby dad, Tate. Of course, when we were after our visit, it was in the adjustment stage,” she told people. “But overall, we’ve always been great friends, so we sail very smoothly with him. We’re very flexible with that.”
Coexistence with Mortensen was a little more of a “struggle” for Paul.
“Obviously there are still feelings involved,” she explained. “I don’t want this, but this needs to happen.”
Season 2 of “The Secret Life of a Mormon Wife” is only a week away from being released.
When Season 1 of the hit Hulu reality series was released in September 2024, fans were instantly hooked and wanted more. We didn’t have to wait long for the news that Season 2 was approaching.
And now the wait time is a little longer. Season 2 will be released next week on May 15th. So prepare your dirty soda, be comfortable and be prepared to watch the serious drama unfold. I’m sure there will be many more questions to be answered and many more will appear, but one thing is certainly going to make the drama tough!
