Virat Kohli expressed his sadness on Wednesday after Chinnaswamy Stadium of Bengaluru claimed to live at least 11 people.

“My words are at a loss. It’s absolutely broken,” he said in an Instagram post, sharing a statement from his team.
“We are deeply struggling with the unfortunate incidents revealed through media coverage of the masses across Bengaluru, anticipating the arrival of the team this afternoon.
Karnataka Prime Minister Siddharamaiah has announced compensation of Rs 10 each to the 11 families who lost their lives in the tragic stampede.
He also announced free treatment for the injured in both private and government hospitals. He confirmed that all those brought to the hospital were out of danger. At least 33 people reportedly were injured.
“If Chinnaswamy Stadium has a capacity of about 35,000 people, the number of people who appeared was 2-3,000,” Siddharamaiah said he was attending the press conference.
“The match happened last night and preparations had to be done early this morning,” he said.
