Rifugio Auronzo is the starting point that can be reached by these modes of transport, including public transport.

- From Mishrina to Rifugio Oronzo on toll roads.
- As of 2025, tolls are between 30 and 35 euros per vehicle.
- Parking is available above, but we recommend arriving early before 9am to secure a spot.
Shuttle (Summer only)
- During the summer of June and September, a shuttle bus runs from Lago di Misurina to Rifugio Auronzo.
- You can book tickets online or through tourist spots.
Alternative (for veteran hikers)
- For adventurous routes, hike from Mishrina. But before you go, make sure you have all the preparations done.
Step-by-step guide to hiking trails
- Start with Rifugio Auronzo. From the parking lot, head left (east) from the Tresimloop. Follow the signs heading towards Centiero Bonacossa.
- After that, you have to follow a narrow path. Ten minutes later, the trail narrows into a cliffside path with dramatic drop-offs and incredible views.
- Then you arrive at a famous perspective. After 20-30 minutes, you will arrive at Knife Edge Ridge. This is a beautiful photo spot. Take your time to take beautiful photos.
- Continue or come back, it’s up to you. Most adventurous hikers want to chase the loop.
- Return to safety. The return trails are the same, so take your time to descend and enjoy the scenery.
