Hello friends! Happy Friday! What’s going on this weekend? Liv has a dance competition so heads to Phoenix, P has a basketball game and meets with friends for gelato. Have a fun and relaxing weekend.
This week’s highlight: It was Mysy’s 4th birthday! We celebrated her by baking filet mignon – for the first time she swam it slowly.
(She looked like a wet rat playing in the pool for most of her actual birthday, so Easter photo)
I can’t believe we have this fluffy, love girl for four years. She brings all joy and love to all.
It’s my favorite party time every Friday! This is where I share some of my favorite discoveries from around the web and a week. I always love to hear about your favorites too, so please shout out what you love in the comments section below.
5.2 Friday Favorites
Fashion + Beauty + Random:
We concluded the fourth week of homeschooling. Ended There is no story about the fourth grade (I wanted something light and fun), but it stood the test of time. We were cracked at so many points in the book. Judy Bloom helped me fall in love with reading for fun when I was younger, and it’s amazing that she is doing the same for P
This dress! I’ve never actually jumped on the butter yellow trend up until now, but the fabric is dreamy and lined up so I can’t see it at all. It’s for sale here.
Celebrating my friend Anna’s birthday! Her party was at George’s wine shop, where we had appetizers, desserts and wine, and chatted with all our friends. It was perfect.
(My dress is from RTR – You can try it for free for a month using this link. I love it for travel and events! )
Check out this year’s Mother’s Day gift guide. Something very good 🙂
Read, see, listen:
The new Sabastian Yatra. His new album was pumped to come out in a few weeks!
I’m listening to this podcast episode right now. It’s wiiiild and I don’t agree with everything he says, but even for the majority of it – I’m fascinated. I love hearing different perspectives about health and wellness.
I’m looking for some ideas for historical novels outside of World War II. < - These books always suck me in with their fascinating stories and beautiful writing, but they try to broaden my horizons. Previous books I enjoyed reading: Roman mistress series, Yellow wife, Lady Tan women’s circle, and Lotus shoesSo if you have any book ideas for different periods and countries, I’d like to hear them.
Fitness, Health, and Good Food:
Our weekly tortilla traditions are becoming stronger. This was a girl’s dinner one night for me and my girl. Tortilla, homemade dressing salad, strawberries. Deeelish.
Make these tacos as quickly as possible.
Exciting News: lumebox 50% off until the 8th! This is one of my favorite things to use in my morning wellness stack. I love it because of my muscle pain, mood, skin and injuries. I removed the mole from my chin so I used red light several times a day. You can use this for so many different things, but I don’t know when I’ll make a sale like this again. If you’re looking to one, I’ll hook it!
Thank you for stopping by my blog today! Have a great weekend. I’ll meet YA soon!
xoxo
