We’re sharing our 2024 Holiday Gift Guide for Kids this year. We tend to stick to a purchasing strategy of “what I want, what I need, what I wear, what I read.”
Hello friends! Happy Wednesday! I hope you’re all feeling well and that your Thanksgiving preparations are going well. I have a few last minute things to do, but I’m sneaking in a yoga class with a friend.
Children really bring the magic to Christmas, so I’m really looking forward to today’s gift guide. I’m basically like Buddy the Elf and I thought, what could make this season more fun…and then we had a baby? They only add to the magic of the holidays. Since we’re getting our holiday shopping done early, I thought I’d share some ideas for anyone doing the same.
When we take our kids shopping for the holidays, we keep things in a simpler direction. They receive presents and stocking stuffers from Santa, but we stick to “what they want, what they need, what they wear, what they read.” This will check all the major boxes and ensure you don’t end up with too many gifts from your parents or relatives. [Another hack: any gifts that aren’t opened in the first couple of days are stocked away in the playroom. I bring them out on a rainy day or when the kids say they’re looking for something to do.]
